What qualifies something as art? I believe art can be defined as anything that holds the ability to make the mind and heart wonder. The ability to have duel realities; neither right nor wrong exist in one's heart. Science, on the other hand, is the nature of a hypothesis proven to be right consistently and without fault. It consists of measurements that prove theory to be true.
Personal Branding lives at the intersection of art and science. It is both, simultaneously.
Personal branding is an art because it forces people away while attracting others. It is completely subjective. Some people will get your brand while some people will not. It is science to the extent that your brand must be measured in its effectiveness; consistently proven to be accurate in nature. In this way it is completely objective. There are predetermined (hypothesized) visions, purposes, values, principles, passions and goals that your brand must achieve and if these are not met consistently, clearly and constantly, then your brand is ineffectiveness and inaccurate.
